Remediant to Sponsor & Present at Gartner's Identity and Access Management Summit 2018
Leading PAM Software Provider Contributes to NIST's Practice Guide on Privileged Account Management for the Financial Services Sector

SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Remediant, Inc., a leading provider of Privileged Access Management (PAM) software, today announced its sponsorship and exhibiting activities at the Gartner Identity and Access Management (IAM) Summit in Las Vegas. Among the highlights, Remediant will demonstrate SecureONE, the company's flagship product, which takes a completely new approach to PAM with a zero trust model.

"We're excited to take part in the IAM Summit as a sponsor, exhibitor and speaker, alongside nearly 1,600 leading IAM, IT and security professionals," said Remediant Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer Paul Lanzi. "At an event like this, it's especially important to discuss practical lessons learned from deploying and utilizing PAM solutions, which is why we're also excited to be collaborating with NIST on its new PAM guide for the Financial Services sector."

Remediant is one of nine vendors that collaborated with NIST's National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) to develop the draft practice guide, Privileged Account Management for the Financial Services Sector (SP 1800-18). The guide shares practical tips for financial services companies interested in implementing PAM solutions. More specifically, the NIST practice guide helps organizations:

  • Identify vulnerabilities and risk factors within their organizations;
  • Limit opportunities for successful attacks by improving control over privileged accounts;
  • Improve efficiencies by reducing the complexity associated with managing privileged accounts; and
  • Simplify compliance by producing automated reports and documentation.

Also at the Gartner show, Remediant CEO and Co-Founder Tim Keeler will discuss how his organization has protected over one million endpoints using Just-In-Time Administration (JITA). His presentation, "Remediant: Taking Just in Time Administration from Theory to Practice," will take place on Tuesday, December 4 from 1-1:20 p.m. PT in Theater 1.

Remediant's SecureONE platform uses JITA to dynamically allocate privileged access, while continuously monitoring for changes and automatically fixing any deviations found. Gartner analysts will also discuss the benefits of JITA at the show, including JITA is used to define the minimal set of privileged access, and configures permissions to expire after a specified time period to enable optimal security.

Remediant is sponsoring all breakfasts and lunches during the event. To learn more, please visit Remediant at booth #632 on the show floor.
